One day, a man on a tractor rolled up to his home and gave him a patch of land that changed his life.

This is a character portrait of John Wurdeman who became Georgia’s de facto natural wine ambassador. We trace his fascinating journey from Virginia to Georgia and how his love for Georgia’s ancient wine history and rich culinary traditions led him to become one of the pioneers of the natural wine movement in Georgia.
